Ngiyaziqhenya ngengane yakwethu: UMntwana uThembi


Singomunye wabaholi abaqavile nababeke induku ebandla e-Afrika kuleli khulunyaka, kodwa ekukhuleni kwaso ISILO akukaze kube nezimpawu zokuthi lona oyiNkosana kaZulu angaba luphawu lokubuyisana, uxolo nokuzigqaja esizweni. UThulani Mbatha uxoxe nowakwabo uMntwana uThembi ngalo mholi.

UMntwana uNonhlanhla ngomunye wabaseNdlunkulu owaba neqhaza elikhulu ekuqinisekiseni ukuthi iSilo sithatha iSihlalo ngemuva kokukhothama kweNgonyama uBhekuzulu.

“Kungaleyo minyaka lapho azithola esesebenza esitolo sikaNdunankulu wakwaNdebele esebenzisa igama okungelona elakhe ngoba wayebalekiselwe izinsolo zemizamo yokubulawa kwaNongoma.

Indaba yokuhlotshaniswa namanye amagama cishe kwase kuyinto eyejwayelekile kuMntwana uZwelithini ngoba, ngokusho kukaMntwana uThembi, nangesikhathi eseSigodlweni kwaDlamahlahla kwakuyinto emukelekile ukuthi ngowakwaNtombela bona bebizwa ngabakwaMchunu KwaKhetha futhi kwakuyinqubo eyayejwayelekile lena emazinyaneni eSilo.
“Nasesikoleni imbala besithi uma sinikwa umlayezo wokufunekayo sifike siwudlulisele kuye ubaba uMchunu hhayi eSilweni futhi silalela lokho esikutshelwayo singabuzi ukuthi kungani sibizwe ngabakwaMchunu yize sasazi ukuthi sizalwa ngubani.”
Ukuziqhenya ngosekwenziwe yiSilo kule minyaka “esiyiphiwe”, uMntwana uThembi ukuncikisa ezintweni nasezigigabeni eziningi azibukela eduze empilweni yaso.
“Ushintshashintshile ngokuguquka kwezikhathi nezigaba empilweni yakhe. Kuke kwaba nesithuba lapho ububona ukuthi impilo engenyinhle ebuncaneni bakhe yaba nomthelela wokuthi kube nezinto ezingamphathi kahle kodwa kuthe ngokukhula wabona ukuthi ubuyela esimweni sokuba noxolo wasondela kakhulu nasezintweni zesonto.
“Ungumuntu oba nakho ukucasuka bese exola masisha futhi, enjalo nje uyaphana kakhulu emndenini. Ngesinye isikhathi sake saze saba novalo ngokuthi kuzophela imfuyo ehlabisa noma ngubani ofika eSigodlweni. Akakhethi ukuthi upha bani.
“Okuyikhona engiye ngithi noma ngiphakathi kwabantu noma eNdlunkulu ngizizwe ngiziqhenya ngakho eSilweni wubuholi esibukhombisile njengoba siseSihlalweni. Waqala ngokubiza yonke indlu yobukhosi ebahlanganisa ezokhuluma nabo mayelana nokuthelelana amanzi nobumbano. Sasingakaze siyibone into enje ngoba phela ipolitiki yayisihlakaze wonke umuntu ebukhosini. Emva kwalokho wahlanganisa amakhosi esifundazwe wakhuluma phakathi kwawo njengenkosi neNkosana yawo. Kwaba yigalelo elikhulu leli ngoba ukukhuluma uxolo nobumbano wakuqala endlini wabe esekhipha umlayezo ofanayo nasesizweni.”

“Ukuvuselela uMkhosi woMhlanga nje ngenye yezigaba eziyohlala njalo emlandweni ngoba lesi sinyathelo asivuselelanga izintombi zakwaZulu kuphela, kodwa nabangekho esizweni bavuselelekile ngokubuka okwenziwa kwelakithi. Lapha eMhlangeni sihlanganyela nezizwe ezahlukene njengamaSwazi, amaNdebele nabanye abagcina sebeziqhenya ngabayikho ngoba bebukele kwaZulu.
“UMkhosi wokweShwama ngenye yezinto evuselelwe yiSilo evusa umhlwenga kuZulu. Siphinde senza umkhosi wenhlambuluko nokuthelelana amanzi kulabo ababenyathelene amakhona ngezizathu ezahlukene esizweni, phakathi kwazo okukhona ipolitiki. Lokhu engikubalayo kuyaveza ukuthi ubuholi baso buqhakambisa ukuziqhenya ngobuzwe bakho, bukhuthaze ubumbano noxolo phakathi kwabantu nezizwe.”
