UMntwana usincelisa kogwansile ngomlando wethu

NGIFISA ukuqala ngokuthi ngituse umsebenzi omkhulu owenziwe nguSolwazi uJabulani Maphalala ngokuloba kwakhe ngomlando wesizwe.

UMntwana uMnyayiza wayexabene neNduna Enkulu yasOsuthu uMankulumana kaSomaphunga. Kubathe iNgonyama uSolomon iyalubiza lolu daba icishe ibambane ngezihluthu phambi kwayo. INgonyama isithi lolu daba seluyehlule ngenxa yalesi simo. UMnyamana usebeka lesi seluleko eNgonyameni uDinuzulu uthi: “Mntanami ungasishaya yini isimaku somuntu esihola ngoqhotho umnikazi waso akuyeke wena? Ingani uZibhebhu yisimaku samaNgisi na? Uthi angakuyeka wena nxa uthinta isimaku sawo?”

ISilo-ke uDinuzulu asaze sakuzwa lokho. Yilaphoke uMnyamana esethi yena akasekuyingena indaba yokuhlasela uZibhebhu. Sincane kakhulu isikhathi iNgonyama yas’Osuthu eyahlala ngaso esihlalweni soBukhosi. Yilokhu engibone ukuthi ngikuqondise ngisekhona. Okunye engingazange ngikukholwe ngeshwa bengingekho nyakomunye uSolwazi uMaphalala enikeza iKing Bhekuzulu Nyangayezizwe Memorial Lecture kwaKhethomthandayo. Ngezwa noma ngingakholwanga ukuthi uSolwazi uMaphalala wathi uNdunankulu weNgonyama uBhekuzulu kaSolomon kwakunguMnu uSimpson Bhengu. Lona uMnu Bhengu ngimazi ngiseyisikhodlwana sengane ngikhula KwaDlamahlahla enguNobhala weNgonyama uSolomon kaDinuzulu.
